For Editors

Resources and policies for editors-in-chief, associate editors and editorial board members across IoI Press journals.

Editorial Board

IJSTS is guided by an Editor-in-Chief and a subject-area editorial board drawn from academia and industry. Editorial board composition is published on each journal's page as boards are confirmed; researchers interested in serving may apply below.

Editor Handbook

The Editor Handbook (available to appointed editors) covers manuscript triage, reviewer assignment, decision-making timelines, handling of ethics concerns, and use of the editorial management platform.

Editorial Policies

  • Editors make final decisions independent of commercial considerations.
  • Editors must declare and manage conflicts of interest, recusing themselves from handling manuscripts where a conflict exists.
  • All editorial decisions are grounded in peer review and the journal's stated scope and standards.
  • Suspected misconduct is investigated according to the publisher's Research Integrity policy.

Become an Editor

IoI Press is forming founding editorial boards for IJSTS and future titles. If you hold a strong publication record and wish to contribute as an associate editor or board member, please write to us with your CV and areas of expertise.
