About IoI Press

The governance, people and structure behind the Institute of Innovations Press.

About IoI Press

IoI Press is the scholarly publishing house of the Institute of Innovations, established to support journals, academic books, monographs and conference proceedings under a single, unified publishing ecosystem. IoI Press was created to give researchers — particularly in science, technology and applied engineering disciplines — a rigorous, transparent and accessible route to publication.

The press launches with its flagship title, the International Journal of Science and Technology for Sustainability (IJSTS), and is building out infrastructure for additional journals, edited volumes and conference proceedings in the years ahead.

Mission & Vision

Mission. To advance knowledge through scholarly publishing that is rigorous, ethical and openly accessible — supporting authors, reviewers and editors with clear processes and dependable infrastructure.

Vision. To become a trusted international publisher known for editorial integrity, sustainability-oriented scholarship, and a supportive publishing experience for researchers at every career stage.

Governance

IoI Press operates under a unified publisher-wide governance model spanning editorial policy, research integrity oversight and technical operations. Editorial decisions rest with journal editors-in-chief and editorial boards, operating within publisher-wide policies on ethics, peer review and corrections set out in our Policies & Ethics section. Institutional oversight is provided by the Institute of Innovations and its governing trust.

Institute of Innovations

IoI Press is a publishing division of the Institute of Innovations, a UDYAM/MSME-registered organization dedicated to research, innovation and academic capacity-building. The Institute organizes conferences, academic programs and knowledge-sharing initiatives — including the INSTA international conference series — alongside its publishing activities under IoI Press.

Governing Trust

The Institute of Innovations functions under the Societal Education and Empowerment Trust, which provides institutional and governance oversight for the Institute's academic, educational and publishing programs, ensuring alignment with the Trust's broader societal-education mission.

Advisory Council

An Advisory Council of senior academics and subject-matter experts guides IoI Press on editorial standards, journal strategy and research-integrity matters. Council composition is published per journal as editorial boards are formally constituted; researchers interested in serving on an advisory or editorial capacity may apply through Become an Editor.

Editorial Office

The Editorial Office coordinates manuscript intake, peer review logistics, editorial correspondence and production scheduling across all IoI Press titles. It is the first point of contact for authors, reviewers and editors on procedural matters — reachable at editorial@ioipress.com.

Technical Team

The Technical Team manages the publishing platform, DOI registration, XML/metadata conversion, typesetting pipelines and the long-term digital preservation of published content. Technical queries, including production and formatting issues, can be directed to support@ioipress.com.
